Paid too much for tax refund preperation?

Long story short, I mistakingly let my husband go about filing our taxes today. Nothing special was done, just the simple tax forms that usually cost us forty bucks. He went to Jackson Hewitt and ended up paying nearly $400.00. That is outrageous! The tax preperation cost $250 alone. He went with some kind of refund anticipation loan (don't ask me why) and that was another $150. I'm furious. Is there anyway to cancel any of this and get that money back or is it too late?
