I have a split fashion personality: a little "goth", a little lazy. How can I balance?

I am a female college student, and am torn by my fashion sense (or lack thereof). My friends would say I'm gothic, but since I have no real affiliation to any sub-culture, I would say I just really enjoy wearing heavy eyeliner, combat boots, and black. However, sometimes I wake up and really just want to wear sneakers and sweatpants. I don't feel "guilty" not wearing the goth clothes, since its not a big part of my actual personality, but I feel a little bi-polar when I show up to cl one day in tight leather, and another in an oversized sweatshirt. Does anyone have any tips on combining both? I love my combat boots, but I only wear them when I'm in the mood to tuck tight black pants into them (combat boots AND sweatpants just don't work so well). Can anyone think of a way to downplay the "goth" side, or dress up the lazy side, so I can streamline a little, and have one consolidated fashion personality? I know that was a long and odd question, but I really do appreciate it :)
