Is this too big of an age gap? I know it seems small but....?

He's 18 and I'm 22. If we were 30 and 34 I wouldn't worry, but a lot of stuff happens between you're a teenager and in your mid twenties. Things I love about him: he's totally cute, kind, caring, smart, and gorgeous. Things I am wary of: he lives at home, doesn't pay any of his own bills, and spends all of his time skateboarding and working a dead end job. I haven't found any guys 21+ who I like, and I THINK (hope) he'll grow up in time... what do you think?
