NYC Eyeliner....what do you suggest?

I've been thinking of trying some of the NYC Eyeliner....but I'm not sure if I should get the Kohl pencil or the Automatic Eyeliner (sharpens itself). Has anyone tried one or both of these eyeliners, and which do you prefer/suggest?
