HELP!!!!!!! I need your help with a nail polish stain!!!!?

I was painting my nails and i accidentally got a few HOT PINK smudges of that sally hansen clicky nail polish pen ON MY NORTH FACE!!! its fleece and i have been putting nail polish remover on it now im leaving it to dry and then i was planning to dab more nail polish remover!!! is this the right thing to do?? help pleeease!!!!!
